You will address the current and evolving healthcare setting from a nursing perspective. You must present your topic in a comprehensive, evidence-based format. References must be from peer-reviewed journals and published within the past 5 years. Statement of Purpose
Disempowerment among nurses result from variables that are specific to the individual or a result of the work environment that nurses are placed in such as bullying. This disempowerment can lead to stress on the part of the nurses resulting in poor performance, isolation, and resignation. However, useful strategies can be learned by the individual to improve self-esteem. At the workplace, the nurses in close cooperation with the healthcare team, can enhance the working conditions and self satisfaction ultimately improving care provided to patients.
