There are various workflow alternatives, and the first one is the electronic health records (EHR). One of the advantages of EHR are ensuring improved quality, outcomes and safety through computerized alerts and reminder, improved compliance with practice guidelines and reduction of medical errors. With regards to the examination of the workflow alternatives, there are various recommendations to ensure proper working of the system, and the first recommendation is to ensure proper management of vendor access to the leadership of the organization.
