Bloom’s taxonomy and Webb’s Depth of Knowledge (DOK) framework are tools that can be used to help instructors purposefully design instruction and assessments that support learning beyond memorization and recall. Writing objectives using Bloom’s taxonomy and Webb’s Depth of Knowledge (DOK) framework to create higher-order questions will help shape assessments and ensure that the intended level of knowledge is being assessed.

- An assessment method or tool that demonstrates proper alignment of learning objectives with assessments
- Title slide, presenter notes, and reference slide
