Select a Ted Talk.
Write a critical response analyzing the Ted Talk you selected. Make sure to provide context to the speech (i.e., who is the speaker, what is the talk on, the title of the talk). Analyze some of the persuasive themes in the speech. For instance, can you identify the ascpects of Monroe’s Motivational Sequence within the speech you selected? Make sure to define at least two persuasive concepts talked about in lecture and CITE them in-text.
The basic structure of the SR should be as follows: introduction, body, and conclusion. The introductory paragraph should introduce the main concepts of the reflection and its topic. The body should define each of the concept(s) you selected form lecture and discuss them in relation to your speech. Make sure to use in-text citations. You may include more than one body paragraph. The conclusion should detail what you learned. For instance, you could use the following prompts. “I learned thatâ€â€¦Express an important learning outcome, not just a statement of fact. “This learning matters becauseâ€â€¦ Why does this matter to you (personally or professionally)?
