Identify a practical (real world) example related to volunteer tourism, and prepare a detailed report. The written report should:
1. Introduce the background context and discuss the key issues and challenges of the selected practical example.
2. Consider and discuss the implications of the selected example on a) tourists, b) businesses and c) host destinations (i.e. residents, government, other businesses, etc.). This section should critically explore and discuss how each of these groups impact and/or are impacted by the issue. Support with relevant academic and/or government sources.
3. Develop 5 realistic and practical recommendations/strategies on how the issues and challenges in your example could be addressed (or at least improved). Consider the extent to which their recommendations/strategies might overcome the issues in practice. The strategies should be supported by relevant theory/literature.
