**APA formatting doesn’t actually require page numbers for paraphrasing (summarizing what you read in your own words), only for direct quotations which must be placed inside quotation marks. Quotes are not allowed in this course, but you will need to include page numbers when source crediting of any course textbook content on which your post is based. You instructor uses them to be able to track the locations in the course textbook of content that you summarized and referenced.
