Devise a proposal for strategies on how you can support immigrant students and their families in your future classroom. In this plan you must include: 1) consider the needs of all of your students regardless of how long ago or how many generations they are away form their native culture or cultural heritage; 2) include ways to engage families and truly partner with them in terms of their child’s academic success. This can be as simple as agreeing to connect on a regular basis or as unique as creating class events where parents share their culture, language and heritage. Present this proposal in essay format with the goal of being awarded grant funding of $5000.00. The goal of the grant is to partner with parents representing diverse cultures or immigrant status to ensure their students’ academic success. All money must be accounted for in your proposal. Therefore, you must show in detail how the total grant award of $5000.00 will be spent to further your project.
A). 3 to 5 pages, not including title and references pages
B) APA formatting including citations and reference list
C) Syntax and Mechanics: Display meticulous comprehension and organization of syntax and mechanics, such as spelling and grammar. Your written work should contains no errors and be very easy to understand.
D) Use the sources presented in this assignment as well as at least one additional source to strengthen your argument. All sources on the reference page need to be used and cited correctly within the body of the assignment.
