Based on the previous assignment (Research Proposal Assignment 7: Annotating an Outline),

For this assignment:

The literature review is a summary of the research on your topic. It should clearly indicate:

  • What we know (from previous researchers) about a research topic,
  • What we do not know (from previous researchers) about a research topic.
  • What previous researchers agree on in a research topic.
  • What previous researchers disagree on in a research topic.

Write a first draft literature review that is relevant to the research topic discussed in your introduction.

  1. Using the annotated outline write a draft of your literature review.
  2. The draft must be typewritten 5 pages in length.
  3. Sources used in text must be identified using APA format, see: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/ (Links to an external site.)
  4. Attach your reference page to the draft. Please keep in mind that your reference page(s) does not count toward the 3 – 6 pages of your literature review.
  5. In addition to the above requirements your paper must conform to the following manuscript requirements.
    1. Double spaced.
    2. One inch margins all around.
    3. Number the pages.
    4. Use 12 point font.
    5. Try your best at editing. Please attempt to fix obvious spelling and grammatical errors.

Be sure to use previous readings and exercises, specifically from Modules 6 and 7, which may be helpful to you as you develop your literature review.
