An example of verbal communication that we use at work everyday is in our safety huddle we do every morning. We all gather up and have clear specific conversations about what is going on in our section for the day, going around in a circle so everyone gets a chance to give their input. An example of nonverbal communication would be when I roll my eyes at these safety huddles. Sometimes people get off track and instead of getting their point across it turns into gossip hour and they ramble. I think that verbal communication is more powerful to use, I say this because this way you can get your point across exactly how you feel instead of having to guess. At work I use verbal communication more vs. at home I use nonverbal communication. At work, you need to get things done and be heard while at home I am more laid back and not very social.
