Dr. Dayna Bowen Matthew, the William L. Matheson and Robert M. Morgenthau Distinguished Professor of Law at the University of Virginia School of Law and the author of Just Medicine, is an invited speaker at the Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University. At this event, she explores strategies for understanding and reducing health disparities.
Watch the VIDEO (1 hr. 21 min.). Remember that in Just Medicine she will be making a case for policy-based change to ameliorate race-based health disparities. Think about the fact that you will be reading, critiquing, and then writing a final paper that pulls from Just Medicine as well as this whole course . Create a thread and submitting an original post covering the following:
