Career Statistics Comparison. During the 2017 season, Will Fuller exploded upon his return from injury: his current yards-per-reception average of 19.2 yards off of only 17 catches (“Will Fuller V Receiving & Rushing,” n.d.). In comparison, Agholor has compiled an average of 14.2 yards-per- reception off of 30 catches (“Nelson Agholor Receiving & Rushing,” n.d.). If we base who the more explosive player is off of these averages, it is clear that Fuller wins the edge over Agholor. Fuller has appeared in less games than Agholor and still caught more touchdowns than him – Fuller caught nine TD passes in 20 games versus Agholor’s eight in 38 games (“Will Fuller & Nelson Agholor ,” n.d.). Another factor that is crucial for a player to catch the deep ball is speed. Additionally, Fuller boasts a 40-yard dash time of 4.28 (“Texan’s deep threat Will Fuller racking up touchdowns,” 2017); in contrast, Agholor ran a 4.42 (“Nelson Agholor NFL Combine,” n.d.).
