My Summer Experience in Nepal Essay
Humanities
I am trying to get selected for this program through which I can visit this school called “Budhanilkantha school” in Nepal. I was born in Nepal and moved here about 4 years ago and this opportunity would allow me to go back to Nepal. The prompt is “Why would you like to spend the summer in Budhanilkantha School and what can you contribute to the school and hope to learn through this summer experience. This is what I have written so far “I have lived in the United States of America for almost four years now. Although it hasn’t been long since I and my family immigrated to where people refer to as “the place of opportunities”, I have been able to observe a lot of differences between my homeland, Nepal, and the place I am currently residing in. I was of a very young age and I do not really remember what it feels like living in Nepal and going to school there, or about the things that my parents and my older sister talk about, which is why it would be a very good excuse for me to relive the culture and actually apply what I have learned so far if I would get the opportunity to go to Nepal. One of the main reasons why I want to visit Nepal is to furthermore note these distinctions between the two places. Along with that, I hope to get the chance to meet individuals of my age and share my experiences with them. In addition to traveling to Nepal, it is a great opportunity to be able to visit such a prestigious school like Budhanilkantha. I will not only be able to take in the natural beauty of Nepal but also interact with people who go to Budhanilkantha and build relationships with new people and learn new things from them. I believe that it is a great age for me to go to Nepal and grasp more about the culture, as well as put my knowledge of what I know about the place to test”. Maybe this will help you get the idea. These are the websites for the school which might help you know about the school http://bnks.edu.np <%22>
