PHIL101 UBC Freud’s Perspective On Can God’s Existence Be Proven?

The essay should be about 1500 words in length, typed, double-spaced and carefully edited for grammar, spelling, organization, and clarity. I want you to limit yourself to either Freud’s The Future of an Illusion or to the selections we have read from Introducing Philosophy. Your essay must have at least five short quotations that are integrated into your own sentences. Do NOT use block quotations. Also, do not refer to secondary sources in your essay. All the quotations should be from the writings of the philosophers you are discussing. Do not give any biographical material about the philosophers–choose a topic and stick to the topic. Here are the topics. The topics are obviously very general–you are free to treat them in any way you want to. The aim of your essay should be to cast an interesting light on these topics and to show that you have a good understanding of the issues involved.
