BIO UNIT V11 DISCUSSION BOARD QUESTION
More and more states (and Canada) have approved the medical and/or recreational use of marijuana, yet marijuana is considered to be an illegal drug under federal law. Should marijuana be legalized as is alcohol or should it be more regulated?
I have to comment on my classmates discussion board question this is what they wrote:
I personally feel Marijuana usage for medical purposes should be allowed. I am not a fan of recreational use. I feel if marijuana is legalized for recreational uses will increase impaired driving for one. I also feel that marijuana can influence a person to try a more effective or stronger drug. My brother was addicted to meth, and he would be the first to tell you, it all started with smoking marijuana. My views and opinions are mainly one sided. My dad is a alcoholic, and that had a negative effect growing up, which affects our relationship today. So, I feel strongly about the effects both can on your life, and the effects on others that care and rely on you.
