Instructional Coaches discussion – Knight and Hall books

Students will write 2 topic papers based on material from the Knight and Hall books. These papers are in-depth discussions of the topic assigned. Papers are approximately 5 pages, double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font, and 1-inch margins. Each paper is valued at 90 points and must cite the Knight and Hall books (and others) using APA format and must be error-free.
Focus on Chapter 2 in Knight.
Writing topic: You are presenting to a group of your area colleagues and presenting a justification for the need for instructional coaches. Write a persuasive paper about the need and importance of instructional coaches. Include any material from the course, Knight, or Aguilar, but focus the majority of your attention on the Knight book. Be sure and include how instructional coaches get started with the coaching process. Define starting point for your colleagues. What does it mean? What does it look like? Incorporate the importance of creating partnerships.
