AIMS
The overall aim is to provide a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of quantitative and qualitative research.
The module will provide with an in-depth understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including the language of quantitative research and the role of statistical tests in quantitative research and how to perform such tests.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon the successful completion of this module, you should be able to demonstrate the ability to: –
- Fully utilize required qualitative and quantitative methods of research enquiry in a variety of contexts in order to articulate new insights, form new conclusions, and make informed judgements and recommendations in practice.
- Using appropriate media and methods effectively communicate and disseminate research findings and present informed conclusions to a variety of audiences.
- Critically appraise quantitative and qualitative approaches towards research within both the conceptual and practice-based areas of activity in leadership, strategy, value creation and identification, and applications in practice, in organisations and form new insights on these core activity areas.
