In reviewing published health communication campaigns, it is important to pay particular attention to how these programs are evaluated. There are many different strategies that can be used. For example, some of the more common outcomes desirable for health communication campaigns include: message recall, behavior change, resource or program usage and awareness. To assess these outcomes methods such as surveys, focus groups, and even tracking messages that were viewed may be used.

Then, provide examples of different types of assessment tools you would use to gather data on your programs and the type or types of program evaluation you feel is the most applicable to the health promotion campaign you would like to create.
