The National Professional Development Center on Autism Spectrum Disorders states that “[Applied Behavior Analysis] refers to the science of learning principles to teach or alter behavior that will improve one’s quality of life,” while a variety of different interventions and practices exist “within the umbrella of ABA to impact behavior” for students with autism spectrum disorders.
Research 2-3 articles on each of following interventions that include strategies and approaches based on the science of ABA:
- Discrete trial training (DTT)
- Early Start Denver Model
- Lovass Method
- Ziggurat Model
Submit an annotated bibliography of 750-1,000-words based on your research.
In addition, create a brochure for parents to clarify ABA and other interventions that are based on the science of ABA. Consider addressing:
- An overview of the program and intervention.
- Documented efficacy and outcomes of the program and intervention.
- Applicable age range.
- Time requirements.
- Additional resources for information on the program and intervention.
