A young , married adult , unaware of the consequences of eating raw meat ( steak ) while pregnant , developed toxoplasmosis ( a rare infection that will bring complications to the baby ) . Her doctor said that she needs specific medicine called Daraprim , but insurance will not cover it . The medication roughly cost between $ 40 , 000 – $ 45 , 000 . If the baby survives pregnancy and no medication , the baby could be born with severe complications . The husband and wife cannot afford the medicine . Would it be morally wrong if the husband decided to rob a pharmacy store to acquire the medication ?
