How would you describe the state of security and safety in KASCS in terms of fire emergency response and spectator evacuation in case of an emergency?
KASC has an automated system to handle fire emergency issues as following:
Activate the fire alarm.
By activating the fire alarm, the loud sound from the alarm will alert anyone in the stadium that there is a fire outbreak so that they can escape safely.
Evacuate immediately
Stadium speakers started guide the spectators the emergency exit.
Request for Fire services
Apply initial response
This is usually the responsibility of security guards, who has been trained to handle fire outbreaks emergencies.
They will take a decision of whether to fight the fire oneself or to wait for the fire service must be made according to the type and size of the fire, its location and the circumstances of the fire. Fire extinguisher is usually used as initial response in a case where it is a small fire outbreak. And if it is larger or rapidly growing fire, it should be left to the fire service to handle.
Does the KASCS meet all the safety standards as prescribed by the global sports body such as escaping routes and personnel assigned to each escaping route?
Yes, it does.
If yes, how many personnel are assigned for each escaping route?
KASC has 5 tiers, each tire has 1 personnel assigned for escaping route in non event day. However, during event day 21 personnel are assigned for escaping route which means 2 for one escaping route.
How frequently do KASCS staff train?
One time every month.
Do you think the training meets the needs of the facility?
Yes!
Is there a measurement to ensure that the staff is well equipped with skills to address any form of emergency?
Yes.
If yes, what is that measurement?
The staff must make sure that this happens by putting in place policies and procedures
How KASCS prepared for mass casualty incidents?
KASC prepared for mass casualty incidents by using the following process:
Identify a location that can be secured and favorable to the flow of pedestrian and ambulance traffic.
Identify essential resources needed for deployment.
Identify key personnel to respond.
Identify key departments that need to be part of the immediate response.
Create a process to ensure equipment and personnel were deployed to a common location.
Does KASCS have emergency equipment to fast and safely evacuate spectators in case of any emergency?
If yes, what are those equipment and where they kept?
How are the fire emergency measures and equipment which are present at KASCS efficient in addressing fire issues in the stadium?
How often the fire emergency team conduct its fire drills in preparation for a fire emergency response in KASCS?
this was the safety and security supervisour interview. there were limitation on the information cuz there is a company they put the plan and knows more but couldnot reach them and the medical or the crowed did not respond to me.
I want the date analysis for this interviw.
the below part need to be in the first part of disscusion before the gaps i found from the privous plan and want you to compare the safety and security to the international standerds.
and i want u to wite how did i get the privous plan which was this way.
In order to get the KASCS emergency plan I have talked with the stadium security supervisor he directed me to the regular procedures to get the emergency plan
The steps are
One a written request from the researcher explaining the purpose of my request which getting the plan.
Second the stadium security supervisor sent the request through the KASCS to the Director of the operation and events at the Saudi sport authority head quarter in Riyadh to get the permission
Third after two days they accepted the request
Fourth the researcher had to a pledge to keep the plan confidencial by signing some documents as well as not sharing the approval.
Fifth the Stadium security supervisor shared a hard copy of the emergency plan with the researcher.
