4) Assess the impact and significance of World War II on the United States. In composing your answer, consider at least the following: How did the war accelerate the Federal Government’s involvement in the economy, which began during the New Deal? How did the conflict affect life on the home front for average citizens? What effect did the war have on minorities within the United States?
