Based on your field experience observations in Topic 2, complete the Global Intervention Plan and first page of the Ziggurat Worksheet related to Sensory and Biological interventions that can be downloaded for no cost. Please reference this week’s readings. Review Figures 4.4, 4.5, 4.7, and 4.8 in the text for examples.
In addition, complete the Ziggurat Worksheet related to Reinforcement interventions. Review Figures 5.4, 5.6, and 5.8 in your text for examples.
Lesson Planning-Reinforcement: Based on the student with ASD you observed in your field experience, write a lesson plan using the GCU Lesson Plan, located on the College of Education site in the Student Success Center. Be sure to identify a state academic standard and objective.
Incorporate a reinforcement based on the Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA).
APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected.
This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion. (Lesson Planning-Reinforcement Rubric is attached)
