Please review the attached peer proposals to complete your week five assignment. You will play the role of a grant reviewer by reading and giving feedback to two other students’ grant proposals (proposals will be assigned at random). For this assignment, you will review both proposals on the following areas. Please outline your assignment using the order below to ensure all points are clearly addressed. Do not just state is this was completed, but evaluate the work that was completed.

  • Page Length- Was the proposal a minimum of 3 pages in length? (Not including title and reference pages)
  • Double Spaced- Was the proposal double-spaced throughout?
  • APA – Did the proposal follow APA formatting?
  • Specific Aims: Does the proposed study seem adequate to achieve these specific aims?
  • Background: Does the literature review justify the need for the study? Are there any gaps or missing data in the literature review?
  • Significance: Does the proposed study improve scientific knowledge, technical capability and/or clinical practice?
  • Proposed Study: Does the proposed study methodology answer the hypotheses listed in the Background section? Is the proposed methodology sufficient to achieve the stated specific aims?
  • Title Page- Did the title page include the paper title, course name/number, instructor’s name, and date?
  • Peer-Reviewed – Did the proposal include at least one peer-reviewed sources in addition to the course text?
  • Reference Page- Is there a separate reference page properly formatted to APA?
