At times, I use music to enhance my mood and the mood of others. I most recently did this with my daughter’s birthday party. She wanted a party based on the movie Trolls. During the party, I played the soundtrack from the movie. A lot of the songs are up tempo and due to this, it brought out an up tempo response from the children. My daughter danced her heart out as did the other children. There seemed to be certain songs that seemed to bring out more excitement and joy for the children. For joyous occasions, people tend to play celebratory music. We see this with weddings, graduations, cookouts, birthdays, and many other engagements.
