Please visit the re:dream project at: http://redreamproject.org
Watch the intro video and then click the “videos” tab on the top left.
There are 3 tabs with videos of Americans from all walks of life.
Watch as many videos as you would like, but please pick 2 videos -each of an American from a different social group (defined by however you wish to distinguish these 2 individuals).
Please offer a thoughtful commentary of the two videos you have chosen. Begin by introducing the individuals you have chosen and their re-dream.
Then please explore the journeys of your Re-dreamers? What values frame their “Dreams”? What opportunities did the folks in these videos have for success? How do they see “Success”? What obstacles did they face in achieving their dream? Do some of these obstacles point to larger social problems? What social justice issues do the journeys of your re:dreamers touch upon.
