The focus of the final paper in this course is summative of this course of study. The topic for this paper is: The Economics of Artificial Intelligence. I suggest that the topic is defined clearly and using at least one quality source. Then present a short narrative describing the importance of this topic. This also applies to the important terms and concepts in order to properly establish the context for the paper. FORM and LENGTH The paper must be written as an undergraduate level paper using the APA style guide with citation information (author, year, page number) in the following order: Title page, (Abstract is optional but nice. Include key words on the bottom of that page.) Table of contents (using the MS Word software to generate this listing), Table of Figures (Table of Tables must also be used if tables are included and this must be generated by the software), Introduction (as a heading that begins the narrative), Body of the Narrative (using headings and subheadings not ‘Body of the Narrative’), Conclusion (with your insights that brings the narrative to a close – no citations are used in this section), Glossary (terms and concepts used from the course in the narrative – a definition must be included for each), References (on a new page following the Glossary – and in APA format; in the Citations and Bibliography icon block, click ‘Insert Citation’ and then fill in the window, which will automatically generate this source on the Reference page in the proper format), and Appendices (if you choose) If Internet sources are cited, please retain the document since cites change or may be unavailable. This paper should be a minimum length of (10 pages for undergraduate papers). It should also contain graphics at a ratio of 1 graphic for each five pages of narrative (Images, Figures, and/or Tables). ABSTRACT – you can include this short section that summarizes the topic of the paper with no sources cited and includes key words on the bottom of the page – this impresses those who read the paper! The Abstract is on its own page preceding the Table of Contents. INTRODUCTION This first section follows the Table of Contents and Table of Figures and should contain an overview of the topic that you have researched and its relevance (importance) to the workplace environment (workplace theory). This should be the target for the conclusion in which a solutions or courses of action are proposed. The topics of this course should be included throughout the paper and citations to the text and class discussion and lectures is required as well as citations from other sources. This section should be only one or two paragraphs. SOURCES This is a formal paper and requires expert or professional sources. These sources should be peer reviewed, which means that they are subject to public critique. Professional sources are also accepted and as in all instances, one must not simply accept the narrative in the source, but must apply critical thinking and compare the content of that source with what we already know and what other sources provide. CITATIONS All references to the sources used must be cited using the APA style within the narrative itself and included on the Reference page. You should use the software (MS Word) to format the references, even though this style may not be completely accurate according to the latest APA version.
