For this assignment you are required to search for 5 peer-reviewed journal articles related to health technology implementations. Each journal article must include a different health technology solution or implementation (see examples below). You are required to summarize the differences between each health technology implementation and how they align with the systems development life cycle described in your textbook. Then research the following two theories, change and socio-technical theory. Define and explain how these theories can be applied to the implementation projects/journals that you summarized.
Examples of Health Technology Implementations:
Computerized provider order entry, patient portal, health information exchange, emergency department, ambulatory EHR implementation, telehealth technology, nursing documentation, physician documentation, long-term care facility EHR implementation, cardiovascular medicine, mobile health, triage tool, smart pump technology, the implementation of artificial intelligence or clinical decision support tools in health care, etc.
