Goals for the Semester

Prior to the first day of clinical students should identify four goals they want to accomplish with each clinical site. The first day of their rotation they should discuss these with their preceptor and adjust according to the feedback of the preceptor/site. These goals should be measurable and achievable over a 15 week period. The goals should be able to show progression from development of proficiency of basic skills to providing high quality primary care in the role of the NP by the end of the program.
