Introduction
The Health/Fitness Industry is rapidly growing every year.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, there was a total of 356, 900 jobs (2018) with an expected increase of 13%. (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2019.)
With people out in the world who are afraid to take the next step into a healthier lifestyle along with not sure of who to choose to help with their journey, there needs to be easier access with ease of mind.
Practice better communications with future clientele.
Practice better promotion of the company/business.
Solution: Social Media
Reason 1: Any social media platforms allow to make connections all over the world.
Reason 2: Spreads the word and provides help indirectly.
Reason 3: Any social media platforms allow future clientele to communicate and view a health/fitness instructor’s work.
1. Social Media Connects People Worldwide
Social media can be defined as, “…is understood as the different forms of online communication used by people to create networks, communities, and collectives to share information, ideas, messages, and other content, such as videos.” (History Cooperative, 2015)
2. Social Media Spreads the Word/Provides Help
Hashtags allow for people who are interested in a particular subject/person to find information easier.
Twitter allows for instant broadcasting of information. (ex. President Trump tweets daily about opinions/government related information related to the people).
3. Social Media Allows Future Clientele Access without Upfront Commitment
Social media platforms allow for different types of information to be shared which can allow a potential client to read reviews, see progress photos of past/current clientele, and learn tips and tricks to help motivate themselves.

Creating social media platforms isn’t just the only way to promote a business/company; the research provided in regards to the amount of users, the timeframe of which users are most active, age of the audience, and connection to the online communities is what guides people all over the world to find these companies/businesses.
This could allow for a team of social media managers to work certain social media platforms during certain peak times for more interaction.
This could allow for a company/business social media platforms to be shared out in the world (i.e. business cards, stickers, flyers/pamphlets.)

Social media is universal.
