Students must advise me before Friday 3rd of April 5pm which presentation question they wish to investigate and whether they are doing it alone or in a group.
Brief Description: Each group / individual is required to prepare and deliver a 15 minute presentation recorded using powerpoints, evaluating a companys sustainability and or social position pending the question they have chosen from the assignment list.
Prior to students starting this task: they are required to read all the material prescribed in the unit outline and attempt activities suggested for pre and post class (Chapter 17)
Instructions:
1. Each individual/group is expected to prepare a 15 minute presentation (be creative when presenting)
2. If a group each member in a group needs to be active in the presentation 3. Students will select their own groups and their own company and presentation question from the assignment list. The group/individual is then required to research the question and present the answer in a poerpoint.NO more then 10 powerpoints in total.
4. In order to be able to research the students need to download the most recent sustainability/responsibility report for the given company. Reports must be either 2018 or 2019.

5. Dont just rely on the sustainability reports to get your answer, remember these reports are now old so google the company and see what else comes up.
Purpose of Presentation:
o Demonstrate students ability to collaborate and work as a team in order to be able to deliver a professional presentation to the class.
o Make students aware of what a sustainability / responsibility report is, why its prepared, its contents, how its relevance applies to organisations across all industries and its relevance to management accounting.
o Understanding the impact a company has on society and the environment is vital to achieving sustainability
How vou will be graded. The presentation and powerpoints will be graded on numerous aspects please download the rubrics from VUC. Things to be sure you cover:
o Introduction (a brief about the company) o Presentation (voice projection, eye contact, engagement, visuals & time management)
