Adding Images

  1. Create an Image folder and place it on your desktop.
  2. Begin to search for some images that you can use to enhance the appearance of your Project Canterbury web site. Images such as small banners [for page titles], horizontal rules, and background images are always handy to keep around. Place them into the image folder.
  3. Create a web page using color or an image as a background, add an image into the body of text, and then add colors that are compatible to the design. You should also include some “mock” text to your page to show position of text.
  4. You can use the coding provided in this week’s lectures or from the textbook.

Post Your Work

  1. Save your page as a web page. Name your document “lastname_week6.html”.
  2. Upload your file to the student web space.
  3. Copy your URL address to the discussion thread in the class AND in the drop box when you are finished.
  4. Make sure you upload all images and other files that are necessary to make this page complete.
  5. If you have saved your images in an “images folder”, you need to upload the folder to the student web page or create a folder inside of this space, and place your images there.
