1. Advertising and its makeup is a big portion of Chapter 13. For this assignment, you should choose three ads to review. The ads can be direct mail pieces, a magazine or newspaper ad, a website ad, etc. It does have to be a print piece of some sort, but digital/online ads count for this provided you can show me a screenshot. Please be sure that it is indeed an ad and not a magazine story, etc.Don’t perform a search for ads online for this assignment – go find some and take a photo or screenshot.
For each of your three (3) ads, tell me:
1. Who is the likely target audience – be specific on what sorts of demographics and psychographics they might be after. I’m looking for ages, gender, income level, interests, etc.
2. What is the desired response?
3. What do you think of the design and wording – likes/dislikes? Be detailed here… think fonts, colors, use of humor, etc.
4. Show me the ad – include a photo or screen capture.
