After reading the Argumentative Essay guidelines, share at least three topics with group members. Include a brief outline of one topic. The outline should reflect the basic format included in the Argumentative Essay guidelines.

1, Three topics that I am considering for the Argumentative Essay/Research Paper are as follows:
- The government should hold stricter regulations to the prepared food industry (restaurants/fast food joints) to promote better public health.
- Transgender students should be allowed to use the bathroom of their choice as a protection of their civil rights.
- Video games (not all, but some) should be considered art in order to help legitimize the industry.
I am leaning towards the video game argument because this is something that I spend a lot of time thinking about during the games that I play. The purpose of the essay would be to help readers who feel that video games are simply a waste of time reframe their understanding, and demonstrate to them that there are well-designed games made with the intent to appeal to higher-level thinking and appreciation.
Claim: Some, but not all, video games can and should be considered art
Reason: This will result in additionally legitimizing the video game industry
Underlying Reason: Legitimizing the industry will provide additional exposure and appreciation which will result in the creation and fostering of new game pursuits.
My evidence will include examples of games and how they similarly compare to other fine arts, such as writing, painting/sculpture, and the more modern interactive arts. This may incorporate the use of visuals to help the argument. Additionally, I will use opinions from authorities from both the art world and gaming world to help solidify my argument. Respectfully, I must make sure to acknowledge the opinions of individuals who do not agree, like film critic who famously stated that he does not consider video games art, but I intend with this paper to illustrate why that opinion should be considered incorrect.

These older peers may have access to alcohol or may know someone who does, she says”As long as one of them agrees to buy wine for minors, then this ‘Purchase of Alcohol Forbes’ will be established. ” I think teenagers shouldn’t drink alcohol.Deciding to drink can have many harmful consequences.Usually,younger teens (under 21) are neither mentally nor physically developed enough to handle a strong drug like alcohol.Also,the earlier that one begins drinking,the more likely they are to have problem with alcohol later in life.Although most teens drink alcohol in order to fit in and look cool,they often end up doing foolish things due to the fact that they are drunk and may end up being embarrassed the next day or having done or said something that they regret.Also,the next day they will suffer a hangover,which is not fun and includes,upset stomachs,headaches,dizziness and sensitivity to light and sound. Many teens hear about the dangers of drinking from their parents and teachers. But in reality, the decision is going to be solely their own. They are the ones who are going to have to take a stand on this issue—as well as many others. What they think and feel about drinking is what is truly important.
