ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVES:
The learner will be assessed via an individual assignment which includes a self- assessment/reflection element related to how they apply the leadership and motivational theory in practice
Requirement
Leadership in Action
The assessment is broken into two parts. Part A is a theory and Part B is a reflective journal. Both parts must be completed with a clear connection between them. You are required to carry out both secondary research and self-reflection/assessment. You will be required to write a report of 3000 words .
Both parts are described as follows:
Part A (2,000 words)
The student must choose a leader and analysis their leadership within the context of the module the focus will be on:
- Their style of leadership
- Their change management leadership
- Motivation their teams
- Decision making and problem solving
This section must include the theories of Belbin, Tuckman and Lewin
Part B (1,000 words)
The student will reflect on their own learnings in part B, reflecting on the past, future and future of their individual leadership style and approach. The focus is on what the student will bring to a potential employer.
