You will write a 3-page research-based paper in current APA format that focuses on one of the specific scenarios listed below. The purpose of this assignment is to allow you to think critically about a scenario and plan what you would need to do. How would manage the situation? Also provide an explanation of potential causes for the infection in the selected scenario and what measures should be taken in the office to maintain safety for all. · A child comes into the office and plays in the waiting room for 30 minutes, and is then diagnosed with measles.
· A person with malaria comes into the office.
· An HIV positive person comes into the office with a bleeding wound.
· A person with Hepatitis C vomits in the waiting room.
· A young man with an open wound suspected to be MRSA comes in to the office.
· A child is diagnosed with mumps.
· Three of four children in a family are diagnosed with influenza.
