In this assignment I need to use MS Excel and Spreadsheet in order to resolve the following questions. The questions need to be resolve step by step and also in excel. Please!!! I need help with task 1 and 2.
Tasks 1:
Construct a Storm Sewer Trunk Sewer Design Problem. The Problem setting must be practical and assume reasonable parameters.
Solve the Design Problem (10 year design Storm) by determining the values of design parameters such as peak flows, sewer size, sewer pipe etc. The problem must follow:
You have to use Google map and identify a State and a specific County/City for which you will develop the data (i.e., approximate land area, land use types and roads). Identify a major road through which the trunk will be run. The problem must use following:
- At least six parcels of lands of different land use
- At least one parcel residential and one with high density residential
- At least seven Manholes
- At least seven pipe segments, assume lengths
- Estimate areas of land parcels, %imperviousness and assume reasonable slopes.
6.Submit the concept layout of problem with as much as details.
Tasks 2:
Construct a Storm Sewer Design Problem for one of the residential parcel. The Problem setting must be practical and assume reasonable parameters.
Solve the Design Problem (10 year design Storm) by determining the values of design parameters such as peak flows, sewer size, sewer pipe etc.
Use similar aspects of Task 1 in constructing the problem, developing the solution and concept details.
