2) In an essay of at least FOUR (4) pages, identify this issue. Include the following information in your essay:
- a) what part of the criminal justice system does this issue most affect? Describe how this area of the justice system works. (If it affects all areas, say so, but choose one area in which the issue is most naturally situated, ie., if you’re doing body cameras, the general area of the CJ system would be policing, etc.);
- b) describe the issue thoroughly. Provide data and statistics on its impact on the public, on victims, on the courts, corrections, or policing. In other words, why is this issue so critical *right now*?
- c) Discuss ONE (1) legitimate and well-described solution to this issue, and whether it will be relatively easy to start this change, or if it will be difficult for the system to change in response to this problem (and why).
