For this module, you will be required to complete a written exercise. The paper must be in APA format and include a title page, abstract, discussion, conclusion, and references. Your paper should go beyond the obvious, be written at a graduate level, and must be at least 1,200 words in length (excluding the title, abstract, and reference page). In Chapter 3, Gladwin and McConnell (2014) discuss styles, characteristics, and true leadership.
Your assignment is to choose one leadership theory and respond in the Written Exercise Discussion area with your selected leadership theory before beginning the assignment to ensure that no one else has taken that theory.
You are to research the leadership theory and write a paper explaining the theory and its relationship to correctional leadership.
You may choose one of the theories listed below or you may choose one of your own. However, each student must choose a unique theory that they alone will research. If you choose a theory not listed below, you must receive approval from your professor prior to beginning.
