The popular expectations of presidential leadership often exceed the formal powers of the office.
- Research press articles that discuss the promises of presidents George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush & Barack Obama made during each of their presidencies but were unable to deliver on. Has there been a promise the current president, president Trump has made but not kept at this point during his presidency?
