Define domestic terrorism and international terrorism. similarities vs. differences. In each form of terrorism who are the intended targets/victims? Is there anyway to avoid becoming a target of terrorism? When it comes to terrorism, who is considered the direct and indirect victims? Video #1 “Mug Shots: Timothy McVeigh” -describe what his childhood was like as well as his adulthood. -What is PTSD and did it play a role in his actions? -what was his motive behind the bombing? -did he act alone or did he have outside influences that may have backed his cause. -what 2 critical events triggered McVeigh to seek revenge against the government? -Why did he pick the Murrah federal building? -Who were his intended victims? -did he care that there were going to be innocent civilians as possible victims? -Was he viewed as a victim? What type of treatment is needed to overcome the psychological distress brought on by experiencing this terror and do you think people actually overcome it?
