Discuss three values of Computing Ethics
Other
Values are an intrinsic part of any information system, and all too often they are considered only after the system is put into place. Databases serve as the backbone of most information storage and retrieval mechanisms and as such, are most vulnerable to values-based issues. The article, “Computing Ethics Values in Design,” identifies 3 values that need immediate attention: the trade-off between security and privacy, hardware design for Digital Rights Management (DRM), and cultural valence.
In at least 250 words, discuss the role of these 3 values from a biblical perspective. Specifically, what does the Bible say that could govern the design of values in information systems, particularly databases from a purely Christian perspective?
