Please answer the question below:
Earlier we discussed requirements for a new lawn tractor. Two of your requirements that represent operational requirements and developmental requirements are below.
1. Design a test to validate the operational requirement – The tractor shall operate continuously for 3 hours.
2. Design a test to verify the developmental requirement – The tractor shall sense obstacles too large to mow over, automatically shutting down.
Remember, validation tests would check to see that we ‘built the right thing’. And verification tests would check to see that we ‘built it right’.

((((Testing an engine should have several sensors , data acquisition features and actuators to control the engine state. To validate the engine for how long can run, first , we have to take in consideration some physical variables which can be measure via sensors. The physical variables include: crankshaft torque and angular velocity, intake air and fuel consumption rates, temperatures and gas pressures at several locations on the engine body such as engine oil temperature. Then we run the engine, we collect the data. Therefore. We can Figure out for how long does it run in steady performance.
To verify the sensor if it is working as it supposed, we have to test it in the field. We test the prototype in the field with large obstacles. We will see if works properly. ))))
