The Cartesian method is never accept anything you can doubt, divide it into many different ideas and beliefs, break it down and examine each step piece by piece, and never quit until it your doubts have clarity and coherence (South University Online, 2016). The Cartesian method was introduced by Descartes. It challenges self-beliefs and teachings based on experiences. The idea behind this particular method is to remove everything, doubt everything until you cannot doubt it any further. If the idea survives all the doubt and is still standing as a solid core foundation than it must be certain and so it is reality (Mitchell, 2014). As I explore theories of doubts about my existence, I am led down the path of the dream approach.
