What rhetorical appeals does it use to persuade its audience? What impact does it have? (Refer to the list on page 90 of Everything’s an Argument)
Your essay shouldn’t be just a list of appeals and techniques. It should make an overall claim about the text and use examples to support the claim.
For example: It’s no wonder that people wanted Oprah to run for president after her speech at the Golden Globes.
