We are all born into families, however I believe as we grow and move through life we choose our real family. My cheerleaders are actually friends I consider family. I have been jobless, homeless and experienced some major trials in my life. My best friend, her sister and parents have supported me ALL the way. Academically speaking, I share with them the classes I’m taking, bounce ideas off them and am able to get different perspectives I may not have otherwise considered. Above all, they refuse to let me give up on me. That is motivation in itself, not wanting to disappoint those who so freely and genuinely support me. Thoughts??
