Grant Application Proposal (RFP)
Using the concepts presented in the “How To” Grants Manual Text Book, the student will be required to complete a fictitious request for funds from the Walmart Foundation located at http://giving.walmart.com/apply-for-grants/local-giving-guidelines.
This assignment will be graded according to and must include:
- The application’s compliance with specific funding guidelines prescribed by the Walmart Foundation; and
- Persuasiveness of the fictitious program’s ability to deliver services effectively and efficiency, according to the best practices discussed in the Bauer text.
(Note that this assignment must follow the instructions as provided in the Walmart Community Grant Guidelines, not the sample Letter of Interest described in the text).
