As there is a lot of downtime in my job so at times I do get the opportunity to use informal channeling. In part of the channeling in my organization at times I have to relay messages that came from my boss to other employees in other departments. Other important parts of channeling is making sure the source of channeling that you use is functioning properly so the person who is suppose to receive the message is able to decode what you are meaning. Some sources of channeling can cause misunderstanding because people are not able to see facial expressions, which can help others to understand the message. E-mailing and faxing can be sources of channeling that can cause misunderstandings.
