Login to myCSMD and use the EBSCO link to locate and read one article from Career Development Quarterly.
Directions to Access Career Development Quarterly:
- Login to mycsmd.edu.
- Look for and select the Proquest online database option.
- Type Career Development Quarterly into the search bar.
- Check “Limit results to: Full text documents only.”
- Peruse the articles and select one for this assignment.
- Save the article as a Word document. You will need to attach the file when you submit your summary. If you do not know how to copy and paste Word, access the following link: http://www.wikihow.com/Copy-and-Paste-PDF-Content-Into-a-New-File . While still have the article on the screen, locate the icon labeled “cite.” This icon allows you to copy the information needed to create a Works Cited page. By clicking on the “cite” icon, you will also be able to change the citation style to MLA. Upon reading the article, compose a summary of the article containing the following:
- Name of article/author
- Date of publication
- Area of career development discussed
- Relevance to your own career building process
- Complete citation (MLA) on a separate Works Cited page

Submit your summary as an attachment. The summary should be at least 1½ pages in length and is not to exceed two pages (double spaced). J Use the Times New Roman, 12pt. font.
