Internship Position In Healthcare Information Management Cover Letter

Your assignment for next week is to prepare a cover letter for the job posting that you deconstructed for this week. The cover letter should be 1 page max (1/2 page is fine). Aside from telling the recipient who you are and what internship you are applying for, you should explain why you believe you would be a particularly good fit for the job and that it is something that you would really like to do. You should keep two words in mind. First, illustrate with specific examples why you would be a good fit. Second, differentiate yourself — either because you have particularly relevant experience, and/or you understand key industry transformation issues and would like to be part of that. For example, that you believe that the use of big data in healthcare as wearable devices upload data 24/7 into the cloud, that this will be transformative for a large part of the economy, and you would love to be part of that transformation.
