Literacy and Reading needs to be 400 words or more with in-text citing and reference APA format.
This is a late assignment due to illness. Due tonight 12/04 by 8pm but the latest 12/05 10am without getting too many points deducted.
For this assignment, answer the following questions: Who taught you to read? How old were you? What was your initial experience with reading, positive or negative? What about latter school years? Did your perspectives on reading change as you got older (i.e. did it become more positive or more negative?). How do you think children are able to learn to read (just think of all it entails!) without feeling overwhelmed, environmental influences or inborn abilities? Back you answer up with concrete examples. It is said that TV is second only to parents in magnitude of influence. How would you say this might apply to reading?
